MindCage by his real name Vasile Emil Alexandru was born in Craiova on 31th of January 1988.
He got fascinated of DJing since early childhood when he was a regular customer of the clubs in his home city. In 2006 he had his first contact with professional DJ gear.
His unfinished passion for music was not enough, and a lot of work was needed to progress in this unforgiving world of music.
The beginning is always the hardest and most important for him it was when he met Barac Nicolae (B Noise), a trustworthy friend up to the present. He is the one which got him into production and guided his first few steps. In the summer of 2007 MindCage is going to Bacau to get some lesons from his friend B Noise. After a few weeks he played at Romanin Top Hits with him.
When he came back to Craiova he had some small gigs in clubs like: Club 31 (Craiova), Vogue Club (Craiova), Zaza Club (Tg. Jiu) with DJ Valliano, Taboo (Severin), Fire Ball (Valcea). He also was a guest dj at some radios: Delta FM (Ocna Mures), Radio Infinit (Tg. Jiu), Dimorphic Radio (Belgia), Radio Obsession (Craiova).
But it didn't take long until his talent was rewarded: he got an important residency for the winter of 2008 in Versus Club (Craiova). It was a turning point in his life, a real challenge, but he faced this very well. After that he got an important offer from one of the best club in Craiova, Medieval Club where he got an important residency there.
In present he is resident at Moph Club (Craiova).
All over the years, MindCage worked with many DJs : DJ Optick, B Noise, Pagal, Adrian Eftimie, Miss Dj Mara, Vania, Rosario Internullo, Praslea, Ali Nasser, Jay Bliss, Mihai Popoviciu... and many others...
2008 is also the creative year and then he started his producing/remixing work and he sign with Muzenga Records (Brasil). His first release is called "Something in my mind" and "A drunk man speach".
